There is a strong contrast in this image between the blank space, black figure of woman and colourful lights. It seems like the woman is walking toward the colourful and bright world.
The reason why we choose it is because this image is simple, but it seems like there are some meanings and messages to tell. When we see this image at first, our eyes go to the black figure instead of the colourful lights, even if the black figure is just a small piece in the whole image.
